Voyager I Has Jumped Off the Heliocliff!

Thirty-five years after its launch, Voyager 1 appears to have travelled beyond the influence of the Sun and exited the heliosphere, according to a new study appearing online today. The heliosphere is a region of space dominated by the Sun and its wind of energetic particles, and which is thought to be enclosed, bubble-like, in the surrounding interstellar medium of gas and dust that pervades the Milky Way galaxy.

Cyanide and Happiness

Explosm.net is the home of one of my favorite web comics:  Cyanide and Happiness.

This comic can, and will be, crude and insulting to people of all races, creeds, nationalities, sexual orientation,
men, women, children, and small animals.  If there is something that upsets you, they will have covered it.  This comic pokes fun at everyone, whether the world at large, or only itself.

My only problem is it is updated infrequently.  I would prefer a daily comic.  Sometimes I seem to wait forever for my fix to come out.  There I admit it.  My name is Laurence, and I am a Cyanide and Happiness addict.

What kind of name for a blog is that? It's a stupid name! For stupid topics.

At the current time, I spend 8-10 hours, everyday, surfing the web.  I get bored.  I go off on tangents.  There is some weird stuff out there, ladies and gentleman.

With this blog, I want to take you on a virtual tour of some of the craziest sites out there.  You'll laugh, cry, scream with outrage, and run the full gamut of emotions.  Not to fret, though.  There will always be a new topic or site tomorrow.
